Installation

Install Blender version 4.0 or Higher

Download Basify .zip file

The latest Basify version is 1.2.0

Install Basify .zip file into Blender

Click Edit -> Preferences -> Add-ons

Install Addon into Preferences menu

Upgrading from Previous Version

You must deactivate & remove the previous version, then install & activate the new one.

If upgrading from version 1.0.5 or earlier, you will need to recreate the Dynamic Relief if one already exists in the current file.

If upgrading from 1.1.0, your Dynamic Relief will be automatically converted. You may need to click Disable Dynamic Relief then Enable Dynamic Relief to see the effects

GPU settings will vary depending on your computer. If you have a GPU, it should always be enabled in Blender. This greatly speeds up Basify & other Blender features, like sculpting & rendering.

Allow GPU

Close Preferences, then open the right-side menu of the 3D Viewport & find the 'Basify' tab
